Swine Flu Symptoms
I thought it would be beneficial to answer the questions about this new “swine flu” that has been declared to be a pandemic. The swine flu is not any more dangerous than a standard flu, and seems to have the same type of flu symptoms including:
• fever
• cough
•
sore throat
• runny or stuffy nose
• body aches
• headache
• chills
• fatigue
• Some people also experience diarrhea and vomiting.
Generally it seems that this swine flu lasts about a week and can be treated fine at home. The World Health Organization says it will be difficult to tell the difference between seasonal flu and the swine flu (H1N1). Most people will experience a mild to moderate illness and will be able to manage the swine flu symptoms at home.
It boils down to this, if you have the flu, don’t worry if it is the regular flu or the swine flu, just stay home for a week, and make sure you are looking at the 2 things that you can do to help protect your family. Make your environment unfriendly to the flu, and increase your body’s immune system to help fight the flu. Remember most flu remedies work best if they are used when you suspect you might be fighting something, so don’t wait until you can’t get out of bed to do something about it.
